Relevance – How my assignment unfolds impact that counts

Relevance – How impact that counts emerges

In Interim Management, not only whether something happens counts, but what, when, and how. Impact doesn’t emerge through activism, but through relevance. And relevance needs structure, clarity, and responsibility.

CCC Interim Leadership ensures that leadership on demand is not understood and experienced as a temporary emergency solution, but as a relevant contribution to value creation, through a methodical approach based on four basic principles:

1. Provide orientation – Structure creates relevance

Especially in transition phases, clear priorities, roles, and decision-making paths are often missing. I create orientation through:

  • Clearly defined goals instead of diffuse expectations
  • Structured approach in high complexity
  • Effective and supportive procedures for teams and stakeholders

What is comprehensible and orderly is perceived as relevant and can unfold impact.

2. Enable participation – Relevance is never alone

Sustainable impact only emerges when people are brought along. I create participation through:

  • Clear responsibilities and realistic stages
  • Regular coordination, review formats, communication routines
  • Structures that enable dialogue, not just directives

Relevance emerges when people become part of the solution, not just recipients of decisions.

3. Make progress visible – Prove impact

Relevance is only effective when it’s also recognizable. I make impact visible through:

  • Measurable goals and qualitative as well as quantitative indicators
  • Clear progress control and transparent communication
  • Early corrections in case of deviations

Impact cannot be claimed; it must become recognizable.

4. Stay flexible – Without giving up principles

Leadership on demand requires adaptability, without arbitrariness. I balance structure and flexibility through:

  • Situation-appropriate steering with a clear framework
  • Iterative approach at volatile framework conditions
  • Ability to act despite uncertainty

Relevance emerges where orientation and agility are in balance.

Conclusion:

Relevance is no coincidence. It’s the result of methodical leadership with attitude. With CCC Interim Leadership, relevance is no buzzword, but the prerequisite for impact.

“Those who want impact need relevance. And those who want to secure relevance need clarity, structure, and commitment.”
